Register by Friday May 11, 2012 for the National Faith-Based Service-Learning Conference

Register by Friday May 11,2012  for the upcoming Seventh National Faith-Based Service-Learning (FBSL) Conference to be held on  May 31 - June 2, 2012 at Messiah College in Grantham, PA.  The theme this year is "Serving Our Neighbors: Learning Across the Lines that Divide Us".  Registration and details for the FBSL conference can be found at:

Keynote speakers include:
Maureen Curley
Maureen F. Curley is president of Campus Compact, a national coalition of more than 1,100 college and university presidents dedicated to advancing the public purpose of higher education through community-based learning, engaged scholarship and community campus partnerships. She has more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, concentrating in the areas of aging, community service and public policy. Among other leadership positions, she has served as Director of Public Policy for the Community Service Society of New York and as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Service Alliance, where she oversaw distribution of $12 million in grants to support AmeriCorps, community service-learning and mentoring programs.

Barbara Holland, Ph. D
Barbara Holland, Ph.D., is a higher education researcher and consultant holding academic affiliations with University of Sydney, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and Portland State University. She recently concluded four years of full-time work as a senior administrator at University of Western Sydney and then University of Sydney. Previously, she led engagement activities at Northern Kentucky University and Portland State University, and at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and was Director of the Learn and Serve America National Service-Learning Clearinghouse for seven years.
