Foundations of Community Psychology Practice Textbook: CALL FOR CHAPTER AUTHORS

Dear Fellow Community Psychologists, 

 A textbook on the principles and competencies of community psychology practice is under development. The textbook will be published by SAGE Publication, Inc.  At present, we are seeking contributors for the following two chapter topics:

Topic: Understanding Ecological Systems as they Relate to Community Psychology Practice (CH 3)
Available Role: Author & Co-Authors

Topic: Program Dissemination and Sustainability (CH 15)
Available Role:  Co-Author 
Note: A draft of this chapter has been developed by Lou Tornatzky

Assessment Institute in Indianapolis -- Early Bird Ends September 13

Please see the announcement below about the 2013 Assessment Institute. There will be presentations on service learning and community engagement within higher education as well as a preconference session on “Digital Storytelling: The Pedagogy, Assessment Findings, and Implications” by Julie Hatcher and Kristin Norris along with colleagues from IUPUI who have been using digital storytelling within service learning courses. MONUMENTAL Call for Proposals

Good Afternoon,

The National Youth Leadership Council and Youth Service America are pleased to announce that the Call for Proposals is now open for MONUMENTAL, the 25th Annual National Service-Learning Conference® and 26th Annual Global Youth Service Day.  The conference will take place April 9-12, 2014, in Washington D.C.  Proposals will be accepted until Friday, September 27th.   Proposals are being accepted to present 40 and 90 minute workshops related to community engagement, service-learning, and youth leadership development.
