The International Association for Research on
Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE) has issued a Call for
Proposals for their Annual Conference to be held in Baltimore from September
23-25, 2012. The conference theme is Connected Knowing. Proposals will be
accepted until March 30, 2012. For more information visit http://bit.ly/zYesCn
This year's conference will include a community partner
fellows program. Twelve to fifteen individuals whose professional positions are
located in non-profit, community based organizations, schools or school
districts, and local government agencies, who partner with IARSLCE members
regularly in community engaged research, teaching, and/or program evaluation
will be offered free registration to attend the conference (fellows will need
to cover their transportation and hotel expenses). Please see the conference "call for
proposals" for details. The
deadline to apply is June 1.
