2.            Regular Conference Programming of Special Interest to
Colleges and Universities
(Thursday and Friday, March 22 and 23)


One-day registrations for Thursday or Friday March 22 or 23 are also available for only $75.00. Each day includes two meals plus entry into conference programs and a Keynote session. Full conference registration includes both days plus the Opening Reception, Trent Lott Center, USM, Thursday evening--$225 until February 17, then $250.
Programs Address the Conference Theme

Transforming Lives Through Collaboration, Community and Citizenship

Transforming lives: Whose lives? Students?  Faculty?  Clients of our community partners?  To what ends?  Where’s your evidence? What are the best practices?

Collaboration: How difficult it can be, given our differing goals, values and constituencies! How do we do it? What are its essential ingredients?

Community: Warm, fuzzy feeling or concrete achievement? How do we know it when we see it? Can it be operationalized and duplicated?

Citizenship: How do we nurture this originating objective of the civic engagement movement? What is my role? What is the role of public policy?
