Engaged Learning Coordinator & Undergraduate Coordinator positions at Northern Illinois University

Research Associate - Undergraduate Coordinator (#36618) & Research Associate - Engaged Learning Coordinator (#2945)

The Research Associate will work with the Undergraduate Research team in the Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning to provide high quality support to NIU faculty and staff working with undergraduate researchers and develop, implement and assess undergraduate research. Particular attention is given to understanding student engagement, persistence factors and mentor relationship development. Keen understanding of student development theories and Liberal Education and America’s Promise and High Impact Practices literature is essential for scaffolding program participation and ensuring student success. The Research Associate will use data to evaluate program effectiveness, student persistence and success, and contribute to the university mission.
