Deadline is February15th for Seminar in International Service-Learning and Curriculum Development

Dear Colleagues,

The deadline to register for the Seminar in Curriculum Development for International Service-Learning is  February 15, 2018, at 5 PM EST.

This is an exciting professional development training experience conducted by United Planet for administrators, faculty, and staff. The seminar will be held for 8 days in Quito, Ecuador -  May 19-26, 2018. You will learn how to integrate students’ international service-learning opportunities within their your curriculum as you gain:
·       Extensive knowledge – theories and practice – of service-learning pedagogy and curriculum development
·       A first-hand look at how international service-learning programs work
·       A network of like-minded colleagues committed to supporting each other

The seminar fee has been reduced to $2,995, a savings of $700! Scholarships are available.
Included in the program:
·       Training materials, courses, and practicum
·       Accommodation, food, and local transport in Quito
·       Cultural activities and excursions
·       Emergency medical insurance
Optional excursions to the Galápagos Islands and the Amazon Rainforest can be added for an additional fee.

Dr. Timothy Stanton, Engaged Scholar for Ravensong Associates, Director Emeritus of Stanford University’s Bing Overseas Studies Program in Cape Town, South Africa and Engaged Scholar for Campus Compact, will facilitate the course.
