Fight Poverty through Education with the North Mississippi VISTA Project!

[Announcement from he-sl listserv]

Dear Colleagues,

I hope the end of the semester is treating everyone well! I'm writing to ask you to spread the word about two national service opportunities with the North Mississippi VISTA Project.

We are currently recruiting summer associates to support summer learning programs from June 2 - July 28, 2017. We are also seeking candidates to make a full-time, yearlong commitment to our partner sites; this term of service will run from August 28, 2017 - August 27, 2018. More information is available on our website.

The North Mississippi VISTA Project is housed at the McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement, and our partner sites are a vibrant network of campus-based entities, nonprofit organizations, and Title I school districts working to impact quality of life in the state's most underserved areas. We are seeking passionate candidates who are eager to develop their skills, learn alongside the communities they serve, and impact poverty alleviation efforts.

Warmly,

Laura
