ABOUT VT ENGAGE
VT Engage is a service learning and civic engagement center in Virginia Tech’s Division of Student Affairs. We collaborate with communities, students, and faculty to cultivate sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships through engaged service, learning, and reflection.

We develop service programs and community learning opportunities that prioritize community need and integrate students and faculty members into the planning process. These programs include both short-term and long-term service opportunities for Virginia Tech students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

Our motto is “action. reflection. knowledge.” By combining service with reflection, we hope that program participants will be inspired to think more critically about themselves, the communities they work with, and the social issues they encounter. Our long-term goal for the students we work with is for them to be active, informed citizens during their time in college and long after.
