Break
Away is the national organization that supports and trains the leadership of
alternative break programs. We recently announced our 2017 national conferences
to our network and are thrilled to invite you to participate, as well.
The
Alternative Break Citizenship schools (ABCs) are a unique justice-based service
and leadership conference through the lens of short-term immersion programming.
This summer we're offering four ABCs, each of which will have representatives
from roughly 40 colleges and universities. The full announcement is included
below and other conference details (including a sample schedule and details
about our Staff Development Track) are available on our website.
