Position Announcement at DePaul University's Steans Center

Greetings Service-Learning Community,

We are pleased to announce an opening for a fulltime Coordinator (see below/attached) at DePaul University’s Irwin W. Steans Center in Chicago who will support the development of community-based service-learning courses and provide leadership to our student development efforts.  We are looking for candidates who have experience in service-learning and student development, who reflect the diverse tapestry of our society, and who have a demonstrated commitment to social justice education.  Please help us to spread the word by forwarding to your networks and making personal invites.

Student Development Program Coordinator Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Director for Academic Service Learning (ASL), the Student Development Program Coordinator is charged with developing Community-based Service Learning (CbSL) courses and relationship building with campus and community partners and colleagues on the ASL team. In addition, the Program Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of ASL’s student development efforts and serves as the point person for the coordination of the Service Learning Coordinators (SLC) and Administrative Assistants.
