Save the Date: 2015 Lynton Colloquium, November 14 at the University of Massachusetts Boston

[Announcement from Comm-engagedscholarship]

Dear Community-Engaged Scholarship Colleagues,

*** Please Save the Date ***

Annual Lynton Colloquium
on the Scholarship of Engagement

Saturday, November 14, 2015
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
University of Massachusetts Boston

Join NERCHE and the Center for Engaged Democracy to celebrate the national recipient of the 2015 Lynton Award for the Scholarship of Engagement for Early Career Faculty and to learn about findings from the 2015 Current Critical Issues in Community Engagement Research Projects. The critical issues--Leadership, Structures of Inclusion, and Student Outcomes--were identified during the 2014 Lynton Colloquium.

The colloquium will feature a keynote presentation by the recipient of the 2015 Lynton Award (to be announced in August 2015). It will also feature research presentations by the 2015 Advancing Current Critical Issues in Community Engagement Research grant recipients. Collectively, colloquium participants will discuss the "critical issues in the field" for 2016 and beyond.

The colloquium continues to be inspired by Dr. Ernest Lynton, who framed faculty scholarly activity as inclusive and collaborative work in which academics and community partners share knowledge and expertise in the process of public problem solving.

Be a part of this exchange for change in higher education!

ALSO, CONSIDER ATTENDING THE ANNUAL IARSLCE CONFERENCE IN BOSTON THE MONDAY FOLLOWING THE LYNTON COLLOQUIUM:
