Start-Up Grants Available for Youth Service Groups



Register a generationOn Kids Care Club (ages 5-10) or generationOn Service Club (ages 11-18) between September 1, 2012 and November 15, 2012 and become eligible to apply for a $300 start-up grant to get your Club going. Adult facilitators or youth members can apply. GenerationOn Clubs are groups of young people in schools, community and faith-based organizations, volunteer centers and existing youth development organizations who implement meaningful hands-on service projects locally, nationally and globally. Apply for the $300 grant in 3 easy steps:
1.       Join generationOn.org. Join now.
2.      Register a Club
o   Adult facilitators can register Kids Care Clubs for elementary-age kids. Register now.
o   Teens and adult advisors can register generationOn Service Clubs for middle and high school youth. Register now.
3.      Apply for a Grant
· Complete the straight-forward, brief application describing how your Club will use the $300 mini-grant. Apply now.
Clubs selected to receive grants will be notified by November 30, 2012 and must complete and report back on at least one service project before May 31, 2013. Applications are due by Nov. 15, 2012.
