Service-Learning Asia Network from Lingnan University
Dear colleagues,
Greeting from Office of Service-Learning, Lingnan
University, Hong Kong!
Lingnan University is very honored to be chosen as the
secretariat of the Service-Learning Asia Network (SLAN) since June 2011. The
purpose of SLAN is to promote the common interests and networks of student
exchanges, faculty research, curriculum development and program evaluation
among colleges and universities interested in Service-Learning in Asia. SLAN
members share ideas about the development of Service-Learning in the region and
have united together to encourage cross-national collaborations. With support
from SLAN members, Lingnan University have developed the website and published
the first newsletter for the Network in December 2011. It helps provide a
platform to make exchanges and to support each others’ work. For more
