National Community College Service Learning Conference - Registration Deadline approaching!

Dear Colleagues,
Claim your spot and register by Friday before rates go up!
The National Community College Conference on Service Learning and Community Engagement, “Service Learning for the Public Good,” is coming up soon! Join us May 18-19, 2018, at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado. Check out the conference website to:
  • Register for the conference. Rates for faculty, staff, and administrators will increase to $375 after April 13.
  • Book your hotel room for the conference rate of $134/night by April 13.
  • Peruse our lineup of timely, useful, and interactive workshops and roundtables, with topics such as “Bottom-Up and Top-Down Approach to Community Partnership Development, “Critical Formative Assessment to Institutionalize Service Learning as an Innovation,” “Best Practices for Meeting Faculty Where They Are, “Preparing for the 2020 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification,” and “Turning Art into Poetry--into Sandwiches?”
  • Learn more about our dynamic opening speaker, educator and author Paul Hernandez (see his TEDx talk), and plenary speaker Lecia Brooks, Outreach Director at the Southern Poverty Law Center.
We welcome newcomers as well as intermediate and advanced practitioners. Due to campus space limitations, attendance will be capped at 150 people.
