The Service-Learning Program at University of Oregon is proud to partner with Oregon Campus Compact (ORCC) and United Way of Lane County to offer two AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) positions for next year!
Both the Coordinator of K-12 Volunteers and the Coordinator of Early Literacy Volunteers will both work closely with faculty and staff at the College of Education (COE) and with community partners, especially United Way of Lane County, to maximize the impact of the College on K-12 education and early literacy in our community.  They will be part of a large campus of 28,000 passionate and engaged students, and part of a team of community leaders committed to improving educational outcomes for all youth through the Promise Neighborhoods model.
"I received more work experience, support, and leadership opportunities than I ever imagined."  Julia Sherman, AmeriCorps alum
