Three Ways to Participate with SCRA International Committee!

[Announcement from SCRA-L]

Dear SCRA Colleagues,

Are you a community psychologist working in an international setting? Are you doing or interested in doing cross-cultural community work? Are you simply interested in issues related to international community psychology?

If so, as the incoming chair of the SCRA International Committee, I invite you to participate with us in three key ways:

1. Join as an active member of the International Committee! You will participate in making relevant decisions, providing feedback on SCRA or other initiatives, deciding on The Community Psychologist "International" column content, advocating for international linkages at SCRA, promoting SCRA at international settings, joining us at the biennial committee meeting, etc., Please confirm your membership by Sunday October 13th by e-mailing Heather Grohe at heather.grohe@globalaccordconsulting.com

2. Register yourself as someone who is interested in international community psychology issues. The committee will share information with you as relevant, and keep you posted with events such as international sessions at the SCRA Biennial. Just visit this link and add your name to the list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuStTOUY9LPYdEZMY3dzMktDUzhoQzd5Q25PaTJQdnc&usp=sharing

3. Volunteer to write an article for the "International" column of The Community Psychologist. If you have any ideas for a theme for the column or an individual article, please contact our column editor Kahaema Byer at k.byer@umiami.edu.

Warm regards, and hope to hear from you.
