Six weeks and counting until the IARSLCE Conference

[Announcement from IARSLCE listserv]

Registration is underway for the 2012 IARSLCE conference, Connected Knowing, scheduled for September 23-25 in Baltimore, for what is sure to be one of IARSLCE's best conferences yet! Details and the link to register is at http://www.researchslce.org/conferences/

The conference host committee is excited to have as keynote speakers Harold McDougall and Katherine Lambert-Pennington, whose addresses promise to be inspiring, informative, and memorable.  You may read more about them here: http://www.researchslce.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Keynote-Speakers_IARSLCE-Baltimore-Conference-2012_v3.pdf.  You will not want to miss this special opportunity to hear these renowned speakers.

The conference sessions are exceptional this year, and the conference Proceedings is now available so that you may see the session lineup for Connected Knowing. Visit http://iarslceproceedings2012.wikispaces.com/2012+Proceedings+Homepage to browse the Proceedings. Special thanks to the Editorial Fellows team for their hard work on creating the conference Proceedings.

The Connected Knowing host team is also excited to have an exceptional group of Community Fellows from non-profit, community based organizations, schools or school districts, and local government agencies, who work with IARSLCE members regularly in community engaged research, teaching, and/or program evaluation.  What a great opportunity to have community partners and researchers together, "Connected Knowing!"

We hope to see you Baltimore in September, where we look forward to exchanging with colleagues, cheering on IARSLCE award winners, visiting vendors and sponsors, attending the IARSLCE membership meeting and enjoying the great city of Baltimore!
