GLOBAL LEARNING IN COLLEGE: Asking Big Questions, Engaging Urgent Challenges October 3-5, 2013 Providence, Rhode Island Proposals Due February 19, 2013 AAC&U invites proposals for concurrent sessions at the 2013 Network for Academic Renewal conference, Global Learning in College: Asking Big Questions, Engaging Urgent Challenges. This meeting will explore what the most important global learning outcomes should be and will focus on how we can develop concrete learning opportunities that help students gain the knowledge, skills, and commitments needed for global competence. It will highlight campus practices that teach students how to effectively address “big questions” and to engage the world’s most pressing problems.
