Regional Conference at EPA
The SCRA
Northeast Regional Coordinating Committee invites paper, poster, workshop,
symposium, and panel proposals for its SCRA NE Conference at the 2014 Annual
Meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association. This year EPA will be held in Boston at the Park Plaza Hotel from
Thursday March 13 to Sunday, March 16, 2014.
SCRA’s program provides an opportunity
for community-minded academics, field-based
practitioners, and students in the Northeast Region to come together to share
their work in research & evaluation, prevention & intervention,
coalition building, community advocacy, and social justice.
Inter-disciplinary submissions are welcome and encouraged.
Topic areas may include but are not
limited to:
*Community Empowerment
*Coalition Building
*Community Advocacy
*Prevention/Intervention Efforts
*Ethnic/Cultural Studies
*HIV/AIDS Issues
*Gender Issues
*Community Empowerment
*Coalition Building
*Community Advocacy

*Other Areas of Social Science that
focus on community work
To be part of the SCRA program at EPA,
please submit abstracts to the EPA website at http://www.easternpsychological.org
by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, November 1, 2013.
Instructions for Submissions:
1. Names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of all
authors (be sure to specify the lead contact person for the submission)
2. Names and affiliations of presenters for SCRA program
3. Proposal type (paper, poster, symposium)
4. Title
5. Short abstract (75 words)
6. Long abstract (500-1000 words) including importance,
methods, findings and
conclusions.
