Dear community-engaged scholarship colleagues,

Registration is now open for the 2nd Annual Eastern Regional Campus Compact Conference "Moving Us Forward: Community Impact and Social Responsibility." 

The conference takes place Oct 11-12 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

We're delighted to announce that CCPH senior consultant Sherril Gelmon is prominently featured as opening keynote speaker and pre-conference workshop facilitator.  She'll be drawing on her work with CCPH's Faculty for the Engaged Campus initiative (7 papers on the initiative appear in the March 2012 issue of the Journal of Higher Education Outreach and

The mission of this conference is to advance institutional engagement while helping Campus Compact member institutions strengthen their ability to meet the standards of the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement. Leaders in higher education will participate in workshops on campus-community reciprocity and impact, institutional change, and engaged scholarship.
