Gathering 200+
attendees each year, The William & Mary
Active Citizens Conference is an engaging space for students,
faculty, and staff to share their experience and expertise working within
community.
This year we’re
convening around the theme The Daily Work of Justice.
Active citizenship is prioritizing
community in your values and life choices. Sometimes that looks like sweeping
initiatives that make grand change, but more often it looks like an everyday
commitment to justice and working together so everyone can reach their full
potential. Active citizens are often those who show up each day committed to
getting done what needs done.
Proposals
submitted by December 7, 2016 will receive priority review and
notification. For more information about the theme and what makes a successful
proposal, review the workshop
page. Please
note the new guidelines for undergraduate student presenters.
Register for the conference
by February 8, 2017. For more information and conference registration,
