- Program Coordinator, Student Leadership and Development
The Program Coordinator, Student
Leadership and Development’s work will be centered in three key areas: 1)
oversight of an individualized student volunteer program and service challenge
(HopServe50) 2) Advise and offer training to student organizations that plan
large-scale campus-wide philanthropic and community service events, 3) support
student leaders who plan campus wide civic engagement conferences and days of
service. The Program Coordinator will also play a supporting role in the
programmatic initiatives of the emerging Homewood Civic Engagement Experience,
the HopkinsCORPS Program, and other student programs that support institutional
civic engagement priorities. This is an entry-level position.

- Assistant Director, Engaged Scholarship
The work of the Assistant Director,
Engaged Scholarship will be centered in four key areas: 1) Oversight of the
Engaged Scholar Community and Faculty Fellows Program, 2) Support for
for-credit Intersession programming and regular semester community-based
learning courses, 3) Designing and promoting workshops, conferences, and
trainings that enhance best practices for engaged scholarship, 4) conducting
outreach campus-wide to promote engaged scholarship. The Assistant Director
will also play a supporting role in the programmatic initiatives of the emerging
Homewood Civic Engagement Experience, and other programs that support
institutional civic engagement priorities.

- Executive Director, Center for Social Concern
Johns Hopkins University invites
nominations and applications for the position of Executive Director of the
Center for Social Concern. President Ronald J. Daniels is committed to making
civic engagement a pillar of the undergraduate student experience at JHU, and
the Executive Director will play a crucial role in executing this vision. In
this newly elevated and highly visible role, the Executive Director will
provide the vision and leadership to further enrich the CSC’s student
engagement programs by deepening its connections with community groups,
foundation leaders, alumni, and other constituents. In addition, the Executive
Director will ensure that the CSC’s civic engagement initatives are connected
to the academic mission of the University, including partnering with faculty
interested in providing community-based learning courses and/or offering civic
engagement experiences.
