The Civic Education Project, a
leadership and civic engagement program at Northwestern University, is now
hiring exceptional administrative staff for our Summer 2017 Civic Leadership Institute at
Northwestern University.
The Site Director position provides
overall leadership and management for a three-week residential service-learning
program for outstanding high school students. Positions are available at the
following CLI sites: Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) and University of
California, Berkeley (Berkeley, CA).
Who We Look For Site Directors
should have at least five years of educational program management experience,
as well as experience with teaching, residential life, and/or camp programming.
Site Directors should also have a strong background in service-learning or
experiential education and a demonstrated commitment to the mission of the
program. Finally, Site Directors should have extensive staff management
experience and outstanding communication and organizational skills.
Staff receive a stipend and all meals
and housing during the program. Note that all CLI staff positions are
