hosts the Heartland Regional Campus Compact Conference, Sept. 19th –
20th. Stephen Black, grandson of US Supreme Court
Justice Hugo Black, and founder of Impact Alabama (http://impactalabama.org/) and the Center
for Ethics and Social Responsibility at The University of Alabama, will speak
on Developing the Moral Obligations of Citizenship. Twenty-five
concurrent sessions by faculty, community partners, students and administrators
will offer opportunities to learn, share and dialogue on practical
service-learning skills and to deepen your philosophical understanding of civic
and social responsibility.
