American Evaluation Association - Community Psychology Topical Interest Group Call for Proposals

[Announcement from SCRA-L]

The American Evaluation Association’s Community Psychology Topical Interest Group (CP TIG) invites you to submit a presentation proposal for Evaluation 2016 to be held October 24th through 29th, 2013 in Atlanta, GA.  Please be aware that the proposal submission deadline is 11:59 PM ET, March 15, 2016. Proposal submission information can be found at: http://www.eval.org/p/cm/ld/fid=395

This year’s conference theme is “Evaluation + Design.”  We are encouraging proposals that will contribute to an understanding of how the values of community psychology relate to the field of evaluation, and how the methods, practice, theory, and research on evaluation enhance the field of community psychology. Proposals focusing on the conference theme or exploring any aspect of the breadth and depth of the field of evaluation from a community psychology perspective are most welcome. Regardless of the format you choose, we highly recommend presentations that represent your best work and provide an opportunity for participants to interact and collaborate.
Respondents to our 2015 needs assessment survey reported that it is very important to them to have a community psychology program at the annual conference. Reviewers are integral to the CP TIG's programming. If you are able to serve as a reviewer, please either indicate that you are when you submit a proposal, or email Alison Martin, Program Co-Chair at dr.alisonmartin@gmail.com.

Last year volunteers reviewed between 6 and 8 proposals, which takes less than 30 minutes. Reviewing proposals is an easy way to become more involved in AEA and will give you a voice in shaping our program. Thanks for your consideration!

We hope you will all take advantage of one or all of these opportunities to engage with the CP TIG.
