Hello Everyone:
This past February, the editors of the International Journal
for Service Learning in Engineering, Humanitarian Engineering and Social
Entrepreneurship (IJSLE) announced their intention to publish a special issue
of the Journal to be published in December, 2013. The editors sought high-quality manuscripts that explore: a)
scholarship, b) assessment and c) interdisciplinary engagement - related to
service learning in engineering, humanitarian engineering, and social
entrepreneurship - both domestically and internationally. (See below for
some suggested topics)
A number of
prospective authors have contacted the editors requesting that, due
to a variety of summer commitments, they have additional time to complete their
manuscripts. As such, the deadline for submitting manuscripts for
the special edition will be moved to September 30, 2013 rather than the
original deadline of August 30, 2013.
There has been no
change in the anticipated publication date. Publication of the
special issue continues to be planned for December, 2013.
